Reaching out to the community is something that Amin Berenji, owner of Margaritas Mexican Food Restaurant and Cantina excels at.
Every Saturday of the month, you can enjoy listening to the music of some very special bands. These groups are comprised of young performers, many of them just starting out, who are extremely talented and working hard to pursue various venues in the musical world. You will be surprised at just how young some of these musicians are!
‘Open Mike’ sessions are the focus of Saturday evenings. Local talent is welcome to come and share their special gifts in the field of music with the diners or those who just want to stop in for a cool drink.
Defensive driving classes are held at Margaritas which is conveniently located just east of Seward Junction on Hwy 29. Call 512-470-9706 if interested.
Are you a U.S. military veteran? If so, just show your military ID at Margaritas and Amin will have a surprise for you. It might be a discount or free appetizer, you never know!
COMING VERY SOON TO MARGARITAS: A playground for the young ones AND an outdoor smoker’s bar for the old-er ones! There’s something here to please everyone! Also, classes in teaching the U.S. Constitution are on their way.
Amin never turns away from helping out the local community, donating proceeds to groups like the Girl and Boy Scouts, the March of Dimes, the Senior Class, and our veterans.
Patriotism runs deep in Amin too. One hundred and fifty American flags will adorn the highway in front of his restaurant on the Fourth of July! Come on down and enjoy some great food and drinks!
