*What a tough loss for the LHHS varsity football team against Devine last Friday night. Sorry to see the season end like that but 20 seniors made it a very special season.

ACA Appliance and Air Conditioning is holding a huge “After Thanksgiving Cash-N-Carry” inventory sale this Friday (from 8-to-3) and Saturday (9-to-3). The ACA sale includes new and used merchandise – and she said they can order merchandise that’s not in stock for their customers at a non-sale, great price.

Also, Tina’s Cottage, located on Hwy. 29 right across from the High School, will be open Friday from 10-to-6 with 20 percent off purses and bags in stock. Tina Hobein told me she’ll also be open 10-4 on Saturday.

For you pet owners, the folks at Comanche Trail Veterinary Center told me they’d be open this coming Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. after being closed Thanksgiving Day (Thursday) and Friday.
