Liberty Hill VFW and Women’s Auxiliary announce Patriots Pen Essay Scholarship Competition winners

The VFW and Auxiliary are proud to announce their Patriots Pen Essay Scholarship Competition winners:

From left to right: Third place winner 8th grader Clayton Luckadoo,  First place winner 8th grader Sarah Johnson, and Second place winner 8th grader Jordan Marsh.  Each student read their essay at the Post's Veterans Day Ceremony on Nov. 11.

Their essays will go on to district judging, those winners will go on to state, and those winners will go on to National competition.

The Voice of Democracy first place winner is 12th grader Kaya Alley (photo is separate).
