Observations from saturday's games
1. Loved Ohio State's uniforms
2. Stanford playing calling is awfully conservative..Let Andrew Luck throw the ball.

4. Texas Longhorns-Longhorn network
5. Will Muschump is not ready to be a head coach at a top 5 type program.

is anything special this year. Did you see the QB play in the Georgia /Florida game..yuck!
8. The Texas AM Gaggies are now 0-2 in the SEC this year.
9. How in the world does Texas Tech go to Norman and win and then put up only 7 points at home vs Iowa State.
My favorite pass combinations in college football
1. Brandon Weeden to Justin Blackmon (ok State) 74-834 yards (last season 111-1782 yards)

The top team since our preseason rankings were released, the Ironmen got back to dominating Garden State competition with a 63-15 blowout of Passaic County Tech (Wayne, N.J.). Next up for this powerhouse is Paramus Catholic (Paramus, N.J.) at home on Friday night. |
| 2 (2) | Armwood Seffner, FL |
8-0 |
245 |
Armwood's streak of four consecutive shutouts came to an end last weekend, but the snapped streak didn't affect the result as the Hawks clinched a district title behind a pair of fourth-quarter defensive touchdowns in a 38-16 win over Hillsborough (Tampa, Fla.). The victory sets up a FAB 50 showdown Friday at home against unbeaten and No. 36 ranked Plant (Tampa, Fla.). |
| 3 (3) | Allen Allen, TX |
8-0 |
237 |
It took a 16-yard touchdown pass with eight seconds left from Alec Morris to Oliver Pierce for the Eagles to finally beat Marcus (Flower Mound, Texas) 38-35. It's the third straight comeback win for Allen, but didn't cost any positions in the FAB 50 because Marcus also was unbeaten. The Eagles could have yet another interesting test Friday at 6-2 Hebron (Carrollton, Texas). |
| 4 (4) | Katy Katy, TX |
8-0 |
236 |
After the latest romp, this one 45-0 over Memorial (Houston), the Tigers have outscored their foes this season 350-30 and have not given up more than seven points in a game. But have they played anyone as good as Allen has played? We'll find out in the playoffs for sure. Katy gets 1-7 Taylor (Katy, Texas) in this week's game Saturday at home. |
| 5 (5) | Trinity For Boys Louisville, KY |
8-0 |

The Shamrocks were idle last week and wrap up regular-season play on Friday with a visit from Moeller (Cincinnati). The Crusaders started 7-0 and were in the FAB 50, but have lost their past two games. |
